Observatory Operations

| The image above shows the control room behind (north) of the dome. While telescope, dome control, guiding and imaging acquisition software could be controlled from a single computer, a few older computers easily handle the low level processes required for operations. The computer at the left controls telescope targetting using Earth Centered Universe, the laptop in the centre controls the guiding CCD on the 90mm Meade ETX via Meade Autoguider, and the computer at the right controls the Meade DSI PRO II CCD imaging camera via Meade Envisage. |

Digital Dome Works - dome control by Technical Innovations
Earth-Centered Universe - planetarium viewer, target acquistion and telescope control by Nova-Astronomics
AutoStar Suite Envisage - image acquisition by Meade
AIP4WIN - image processing by Richard Berry and James Burnell
