Telescopes
The primary telescope that is housed in the dome is a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, having an aperture of 0.3 meter (12 inches) manufactured by Meade Corporation. This telescope is from the LX200 model line.
The secondary instrument is a Maksutov telescope having a aperture of 90 mm (3.5 inches), also manufactured by Meade. This instrument serves as a guidescope, and can be configured for use in the field.
The third instrument is a Newtonian reflector having an aperture of 0.4 meters (18 inches). It is used mainly away from the observatory at "dark-sky" locations, and for public stargazing.
